IMPORTANT: Several GR fans running Windows XP with Asian language support have experienced an error installing the Frostbite mod. The install will halt at 42% and give the following error message: "Cannot create the following file: C:\....\Mods\Frostbite\map\damaged_radar\burnedtrevebl?$$A". The reason for this is that there is a Norwegian character from a texture name that was causing the installation to fail on non-Engilsh versions of Windows.
When it is ready, File Retreat will have the full version of Frostbite v1.2 which will have this error fixed. But until then, Jimpc313 has posted about an excellent workaround to fix this 42% install error in our forums here. Basically, people running non-English Windows will have to change the "Language for Non-Unicode programs" in the "Advanced" tab of "Regional and Language options" back to "English (United States)" in Controls Panel.
